Today we are going to focus in the primary sector in Spain. Remember that primary sector includes:

• Arable farming
• Livestock farming
• Fishing
• Mining
• Forestry

In 1900 about 60% of the population worked in the primary sector but nowadays only the 5% of the population in Spain work in this sector.

Now read the section "The primary sector in Spain" on page 79 in your book. 

Then copy the following diagram in your notebook and do the exercise 1 on page 79.
